Hi everyone. I am Yamaton, a resident of Nara, an ancient capital of Japan.

As a local Nara resident, I am excited to share some insider information about our beautiful city.

Today, I'd like to introduce you to a fantastic bean sweets shop called "Nakanishi Peanutu(中西ピーナツ)." This place offers a wide variety of delicious and generously portioned treats at affordable prices.

There is a huge peanut signboard placed along the national highway, serving as the shop's landmark.

The shop's facade is made of glass, giving it a very modern design, but it is actually a long-established bean sweets shop that has been in business for over 100 years.

There is  a peanut comic foreground  at the entrance of the store!
Many people take commemorative photos here!

You can buy various bean sweets inside the store, ranging from around 300 yen to 600 yen.

This is "Propeller Karinto."
It is the most popular product in this shop.
"Karinto" is a traditional Japanese snack made by mixing wheat flour, sugar, and other ingredients, then frying it in vegetable oil and coating it with sweet syrup before drying.

This is "Mixed Nuts."
Once you start eating, you won't be able to stop due to its irresistible deliciousness.

This is the winter-limited "Almond Chocolate."
Not only can you buy it at the shop, but you can also place an order by phone or fax and have it delivered to you.

I see, unfortunately, this shop does not operate an internet website, so purchasing online is not possible.

These are "Maple & Nuts Ice Cream" (300 yen) available for eating at the shop.

It is generously filled in a cup, providing a satisfying and substantial treat.

The peanut shells are like monaka wafers, and they perfectly complement the ice cream when eaten together.

This ice cream offers the delightful combination of rich flavor from Canadian maple syrup and the enjoyable crunch of walnuts, resulting in a refreshing and delightful taste.
